Sheila Oliner was born in London, England and moved to Cornwall in the South West of England in 1970 following completion of her studies at the Slade School of Art. Her work has toured with the Arts Council and she has exhibited at the Royal Academy.
Part of the group known as the Porthmeor Printmakers Oliner has been widely exhibited. Her subject matter generally revolves around the lives of women; their relationships and their position in society.
