A close pair of graduated terracotta lion sculptures or idols from the Early 20th Century.
Delightfully handmade with arching backs, friendly painted smiling faces and long whiskers. A very unusual pair, highly decorative, tactile and fun. Overall excellent solid condition, with minor areas of wear as shown.
The larger lion measures 23cm in length x 10cm wide x 14cm in height.
The smaller lion measures 15cm in length x 7cm wide x 8.5cm in height.
