Bowl shaped tureen and cover made from salt glazed stoneware, marked with potters stamp. Finished in muted green and brown with a green slip glaze internally.

Svend Bayer (b.1946) Described as Michael Cardew's best pupil. Bayer studied at the University of Exeter from 1965-1968 and began work at Wenford Bridge Pottery with Micheal Cardew in 1969.
