Featuring sunflowers at Bergerac France. The beautiful texture of each sunflower head brought out exceptionally using the impasto technique. All together an extremely vibrant picture, reminiscent of driving through the South of France on a hot summers day.
John Bampfield was born in 1947 in the Midlands, where he grew up, moved to Cornwall in 1969 and has been painting since then.
