Large 19th Century altar crucifix featuring an ebony cross with silver plated figure of Jesus and three stepped gilt brass base, foliate decoration.
An unusual crucifix that has been heavily polished over the years resulting in losses of fine detail to figure, the rear of the base has a small area of porosity from the casting process.
