Here we have a delightful wooden book trough hand painted with fish in an aquatic scene with added gilt detail.
A rather unique little piece of furniture painted in the Bloomsbury Group style, the gilt detail catches the light from different angles. All three sides are decorated.
Overall good solid condition with areas of paint rubbing and small restoration to one corner.
