Beautifully hand carved from a single piece of wood with fine fur detail and form.
This handsome chap certainly makes quite a statement and was most likely carved by the Ainu people of Hokkaido Island Northern Japan.
Excellent overall condition, some wood shrinkage to the face, right hand ear has had a past repair.
