Here we have an antique oil on board painting featuring two figures in a dense bluebell woodland by Harry Clayton Adams (British 1876-1956).
The colour pallet represents the blue haze you experience walking amongst bluebells well and the touches of light yellows and greens come across in the dappled light of the clearing from the canopy above.
Signed bottom left and titled to verso, the period wooden frame is solid although has some areas of loss to moulding in places.
