Antique, Early 19th Century silk work embroidery picture featuring an elderly, bearded gentleman perched upon a rock feeding two birds. A red swag of fabric draped across his lap, he sits under a tree next to shrubs and reeds.
The picture is in a maple frame and shows signs of wear and loss to both picture and frame. The front is glazed to prevent any further deterioration.
