17th Century oak box with carved detail lid.
Oak panel box with carved lid featuring a large diamond pattern.
Internally the box has had a door on it at some point which has been sealed up with two iron straps, possibly used as a cat box?
Overall in good solid condition, the lid panel does have a split but due to panel frame does not effect the integrity of the lid. A useful storage box or low side table.
Measurements: 50cm in length x 33cm wide x 33cm in height.
