A large, slip decorated lidded pot by Seth Cardew (1934-2016) from the Wenford Bridge pottery that was located in St Breward, Bodmin Cornwall.
Seth was the son of Michael Cardew who worked alongside Bernard Leach at St Ives and started the Wenford Bridge pottery in 1939. Seth's work was in the Leach tradition.
Excellent condition with impressed potter and pottery seals.
Measurements: 30cm wide x 14cm in height.
