Set of two large early 19th century framed silkwork pictures of birds.
The embroidery is made from silk and wool on an olive green, silk ground with red and green decorative leaves and grasses.
Original ebonised wooden, glazed frames with gold moulding.
The birds themselves are in good order and colour, deterioration and loss in places to background and leaves. Both frames have nibbles and a loss in top left corner of the right hand picture.
